# Element Selection from Model

Apart from selecting elements by category and type, they can be selected directly from the model. For manual selection of elements, first select them in any Revit model view (3D or 2D views) and than click ![](/files/vF0BumPYrVhNhgDmBVEM) *Select objects from view manually*. This transfers the selection to Class Feeder dialogue window. To classify selected instances, pick the right code from the classification table and click *Classify* button.
