The Time spent editing a document function starts automatically when the F-Tools add-in is loaded. It records the total time and active time spent editing the document.

The active time is evaluated based on the elapsed time interval between consecutive commands. This interval can be configured on the second tab of Settings. If this interval is exceeded, only half of the configured interval is added to the stored time.

The time information is saved to the document using the Save command. If you close the document without saving it, the time information is lost.

The function can handle multiple open documents, and if a document is shared by multiple users, it calculates the times for each individually and in total.

On the Settings tab you can set what will be displayed:

· Total time

· The number of times the document was opened

· Individual times by user

And also the interval between the activation of the last and penultimate command.
