BOM Configuration

PreviousParts only ViewNextExample : The functionality of a structured view

Last updated 2 years ago

The BOM configuration contains 4 fixed columns (1-4) and up to 6 columns (5-10) of your choice. You can select from physical properties of the model, or from custom defined properties. Plus you have the button for saving the BOM layout (11) and the button for closing the form (12).

Setting up the next columns (‘not used’) can be performed by expanding the drop box iProperty (1) and choosing the requested property from the displayed list.

The quantity property (3) is counted based on the same value of PartNumber, or if there are multiple occurrences of the part.

Plus there are model properties (4) and custom properties (5), if they were defined for some parts of the assembly.

The initial option ‘Select one’ (2) can be used to reset the column setting. So if you don’t want to use the column anymore, set the value ‘Select one’.

Any changes in the configuration must be saved using the button ‘Save Configuration of BOM’
