Bulk Classification of Elements
Instructions for setting up bulk classification
Class Feeder allows users to create conditions that can then be used to apply the classification in bulk to individual elements in the project. Conditions can be specified using rules that Revit users are familiar with from View Filter definitions. Conditions defined in this way can be applied to different projects, resulting in automated classification, streamlining work and saving time. Each company can adapt conditions to to fit their own families. In addition, conditions can be transferred between workstations, so that the definition of classification conditions created by the BIM manager can be used by all designers in the company.
The same settings are used during the bulk classifiaction, as during the standard classification.
The condition settings for bulk classification are saved per Revit installation, they are not stored as part of individual project.
